Plan and implement provisions for each of the aforementioned areas. Organise an 'Active Week'. Check back for regular updates and meet our Active School Flag Committee. The Flag is here!!! ![]() Meet our Playground Committee. These leaders have kindly given up their SOS and lunch times twice a week to help the infant children play in a co-operative way and most importantly have fun!! Laura, Kayla, Megan Theresa, Jessica, Shauna, Courtney Lucy, Hannon, Amanda, Ivana, Saoirse, Mikayla, Shannon Savannah, Ronan and Julie. The importance of physical activity. Being physically active is one of the most important steps you can take to help improve the health of your children, whatever their age or ability. It is recommended that children should participate in 60 ,minutes of physically activity throughout the day. Children are naturally active so any amount of physical activity counts towards their 60 minutes. Walking or cycling to and from school, active games such as hopscotch, tag, skipping as well as organised activities such as soccer, football, dancing and swimming all count.
