On the 19th of June we went to the Fire Station and Barney's for our school tour. We had a great time. We had an ice-cream party in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland. It was a great day and we really enjoyed our tasty ice-cream. We were very lucky in Junior Infants to get to see a play called 'Star Chasers' in Glór. It was a great day. The children really enjoyed the story 'The Day The Crayons Quit'. We brought our crayons on a beautiful nature walk. We went on a nature walk. We saw Snowdrops and daffodils sprouting. We saw loads of different 2D and 3D shapes on our walk. We saw loads of numbers too. In Junior Infants today we made butter. We had very sore arms after it. We spent a long time shaking the cream to turn it into butter. We learnt that the fat in the cream sticks together and that forms the butter. The children had bundles of fun during P.E this week. They really enjoyed the different stations. |
