As part of our look at Irish history our class went on a walking tour of Ennis on Thursday. We visited the Maid of Erin statue, in memory of the Manchester Martyr's, the Old Mill, The County Library (where we saw De Valera's Dodge car) and also the 1916 commemoration site at the club bridge in town. A good outing was had by all.
