
![]() Mrs Antoinette Barry retires today after 34 years at Scoil Chríost Rí. She has given so much of her time and care to the students and to the school and we will miss her very much! Best of luck in all that you do in the future!
Students from 6th class performed an original piece last night at their graduation ceremony and again today for the school at our end of year assembly. Written and composed by 6th class, it is a beautiful song and is sung wonderfully by the students. Congratulations to 6th class who had their graduation ceremony last night! There were great scenes in Cusack park today as our Scoil Chríost Rí girls defeated Killaloe to win the Cumann na mBunscol division 5 camogie final. The girls have been training hard all year and it paid off for them today! We were blessed with the weather and everyone had a great day! Events included three legged, piggy back and egg and spoon races; as well as tug of war and obstacle courses! Well done to all the students and parents who took part! Everyone in Ms. de Barra's 1st class is proud of you. Ksawery received his prize at Clare Education Centre on the 5th of June. Next week he will attend a workshop in Galway where he will work with an artist to produce a drawing that will be published in a book. Well done to Ksawery and to everyone who took part in the competition! |
