Girls 5-A-Side County Champions!!

Our girls claimed a famous victory yesterday at Lees Road as they captured the Girls 5-a-side County Title and earned the right to represent the school in the Munster Competition next month.
How They Did It:

Group 3
Cloughleigh 6-1 Boston
Cloughleigh 6-0 Clonmoney
Cloughleigh 2-0 Lakyle (Qualified for the Knock Outs)

Group A
Cloughleigh 1-0 Kilshanny/Doolin
Cloughleigh 2-0 Inch


Final
The final was very tense with Cloughleigh dominating from the start. With a last minute goal we got the glory with a deserved 2-1 victory. 


Bring on the Munsters on May 7th in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary and thanks to everybody involved, from teachers to parents to Mr Roughan who came up to support on the day and especially to our brilliant Girls Soccer Team.
