It's that time of year again and we have so many students who have worked hard and contributed to every aspect of school life this year. We are very grateful to past pupil David Reidy for presenting our awards today. He is a great friend of the school and very generous with his time. Please have a look at the photos to see a selection of our hard working students! PA huge thank you to Dr Maureen Griffin who gave a most informative talk to parents and community members last night on how to use the internet in a safe way. We take the safety of our students online very seriously and we were thrilled that Maureen could speak to us. Please find information leaflets below.
A fantastic day was had by all last Thursday for our School Sports Day. We had boumcy castles, novelty races, musical chairs and face painting. The Parent's Association had a BBQ for us too! Thanks to all who helped to make the day such a success! Junior and Senior Infants had a great day yesterday on their school tours! Junior Infants visited the Fire Station where they learned about fire safety and even got to sit in Alfie the Fire Engine! Senior Infants went to the swimming pool where they had great fun splashing about! Both finished up with some fun and frolics in Barneys! A great day was had by all! Be sure to check their class pages for more photos! We have two upcoming talks which promise to be informative for parents. See leaflets below for details.
Well done to past pupils David McCarthy and Barry Ryan who are All Ireland Oscar Traynor Champions again! They visited us today with the trophy and spoke so well of the commitment and hard work behind getting to your goal. David has nephews still coming to school here and is always very good to drop in to us during the year. Here's to three in a row!
